House Building! - Part 3 (Brick/Roof/Electrical/Insulation/Sheet Rock/Skunk?!)

I have absolutely zero time to do anything anymore so here are pictures!!!

This is me and everybody else in my immediate family right now.

My poor roof paper got blown off but it got fixed later.  :)

Front porch and garage lights

Please take notice of my little roof here.  My wonderful framer came back added it just because he heard I wanted it there.  I had forgotten about it and the plans don't call for it that way but he came and fixed it anyway!  (plug for Lloyd Swartz Construction)

Electrical done!  (for now)

And this is when the sheet rock guys noticed the skunk.  Yes, skunk.  **sigh**  They pushed the stack of sheet rock over that was propped against the wall with the insulation showing and there he was.  Little Flower had eaten through the bottom 10 inches or so of the insulation all the way down my living room wall and made quite the little nest for himself.  Miraculously he didn't spray when they slammed the sheet rock down revealing his home but he did leave plenty of little "gifts" all throughout the house.

The Husband carefully barricaded the other exits with sheet rock... sheets... to restrict his movements to one area.

We left and came back and he had moved to the wad of insulation in front of the bucket (scared me to death when he moved because we all thought he was still by the wall under THAT insulation.  That black dot is his nose poking out to smell the peanut butter we were putting out.

If you want the full story ask me (it's ridiculous and involves my dad dropping everything and running for the field) but EVENTUALLY we cornered Flower in the garage with a covered live trap.

About to get the trap and take Flower to a new home.  Praying he doesn't spray still.

They got him and all is well!  :)

On to happier things!  A preview of my cabinets!!

Nice fridge right?  :)

For power

Where was this thing when I was digging 50 foot trenches with a shovel in May?

...And then dad got stuck.  It's what he does.  :)  It wasn't really his fault this time though.

And time for cleanup!!

Sorry I didn't have as much commentary on this post.  I'm busy!  I'm building a house!  :)  Comment and I'll respond!
